JEPSON PRINCE

Jepson has been part of the JB Hawksbill Project research team since
2001. He hails from the small village of Crab Hill on the beautiful
island of Antigua, where he developed a great appreciation for the
local wildlife from a very young age. Jepson is considered Jumby Bay's
resident naturalist, and is also involved with turtle research on the
mainland through the Field Tracks Turtle Project and the
Environmental Awareness Group (EAG). During the day, Jepson is a
member of the Jumby Bay Island Services landscaping and
horticultural team.
2009 JBHP Team

Since 1987, forty young researchers have participated in the
intense monitoring of the Jumby Bay turtles. This year's field
team consists of Kathryn Levasseur, Dominic Tilley, and Jepson
Prince.

Seth Stapleton and Dr. Jim Richardson manage JBHP research
and logistics.
Other members of the team include Carol Guy, Tara Muenz,
Kimberly Andrews and Peri Mason.
DOMINIC TILLEY

Dominic graduated from the University of Plymouth in the UK with a
BSc in Environmental Science, focusing on tropical and coastal
ecosystems and sustainable development.  Prior to joining JBHP, he
worked with a marine turtle conservation project in Costa Rica and
conducted environmental education and outreach programs with
local fishermen in Madagascar. Dominic has a keen interest in
environmental issues, especially the conservation of biological
diversity. This is Dom's second year with JBHP.
KATHRYN LEVASSEUR

Kate graduated from the University of Connecticut with a M.Sc. in
Biodiversity and Conservation Biology after earning a B.Sc. in Ecology
& Evolutionary Biology and Molecular & Cell Biology.  After traveling
to South Africa for an ecology field course, she became increasingly
interested in international conservation.  Prior to joining JBHP, Kate
traveled to Brazil where she studied the socio-economic and
environmental changes in an artisanal fishing community.  This is
Kate's second year with JBHP.
